Purchase securely

Buy through our standard checkout. The plate is issued on a V750 Certificate of Entitlement (or V778 Retention Document if previously assigned). This certificate is valid for 10 years and can be extended.

Yes. When you purchase a plate, it is issued on a certificate of entitlement in your name. You can then gift the certificate to the recipient, who can assign the registration to their vehicle whenever they are ready.

No. You do not need any vehicle information at the time of purchase. The plate is held on a certificate until the recipient is ready to assign it. Vehicle details are only needed at the transfer stage.

A V750 Certificate of Entitlement is valid for 10 years from the date of issue. It can be renewed before it expires, so the recipient has plenty of time to decide when to use it.

Yes, but they will need written permission from their finance or leasing company first. This is usually straightforward — most finance companies are happy to grant permission. Our team can advise on the process.
