Getting your new number plate is exciting. That's why we make our delivery process fast, straightforward and hassle-free.

Here's a peek behind the curtain. When you place an order with us, we swing into action immediately. We secure your private registration and initiate the necessary documentation process swiftly. Our goal is to confirm everything to you within a few hours, ensuring a smooth start to your number plate journey — usually done within the day for most registrations.

For second-hand plates that we're selling on another person's behalf, this can take a little longer as we contact the previous owner and arrange the legal transfer. We keep you updated constantly throughout the process.

How your order is delivered.

Certificate of Entitlement

Once your order is confirmed, the DVLA will issue a Certificate of Entitlement (V750) — your official right to own, retain, or assign the registration to a vehicle. This process is usually completed within 5–7 working days.

Fully Managed Transfer Service

For customers who choose our Easy Reg Transfer Service, we expedite the assignment process. As soon as we receive your certificate and your vehicle's logbook details, we can proceed with the transfer — often on the same day. You'll still need to wait for your new V750 from the DVLA before displaying the plate on your vehicle.

Number Plate Delivery

If you've ordered custom physical number plates, these will be dispatched within 1 working day of your transfer completing. You'll receive an email notification as soon as they're on their way.

Legal Compliance

Please remember — it's essential to wait until you receive official DVLA confirmation before mounting your new plates. Driving with your new registration without this confirmation is illegal and could lead to significant fines.

Good to know

  • Failed deliveries due to an inaccessible address will be returned by the courier. Re-dispatching may take up to 6 weeks while we await the return.
  • Plates are deemed lost in transit after 7 days without a delivery update. In this case, we'll reprint and dispatch a new set at no additional cost.
  • If you don't receive an expected registration certificate, contact us immediately. We'll liaise with the DVLA to issue a replacement.
